To ride as fast as possible, both the bike and your body need to be aerodynamic. The Felt IA FRD Ultimate keeps you in the most aero position possible to cheat the wind from all angles. With an airfoil design, this bike is not just fast in the wind tunnel. It takes on real world conditions and redirects turbulence around the bike and rider. It is 4 percent faster than the previous model, ready to knock seconds off your time with no additional effort. Powerfully stiff carbon combined with freedom from any speed hinderance allows you to absolutely fly when you get on the bike.
Triathletes need hydration and nutrition throughout a brutal race and the IA FRD 2.0 Ultimate is ready to help. The CALpac top tube storage system has been redesigned to 0.2 liters of storage, making space for all the energy gels, bars, and small items you could possibly need. It has an easy access slot at the top so you can grab items at high speeds. Like everything else on the bike, the storage system is built for aero speed. Sitting right below it is the integrated THIRSTpac hydration system to hold 0.9 liters of water that is easy to fill and access. The IA FRD 2.0 Ultimate has everything you need to succeed without sacrificing speed.
The new version of the Felt IA is more integrated than ever. It can be fitted with any mechanical or electronic drivetrain whether it is 1x or 2x. This version is equipped with a SRAM Force eTap AXS system for high-level 12-speed electronic shifting. At the front end, there is an integrated cover to conceal a BlipBox or junction. All systems are streamlined and aero with this frame design. The InternaLoc 2.0 seatpost clamping system is secure, adjustable, and comfortable, helping riders find their perfect riding position. The seat tube also features a storage compartment so you can have access to tools and more on your ride. The Felt IA FRD 2.0 Ultimate is a superbike for triathlon victory.
